Frequently Asked Questions

Where are we fishing?

Being conveniently located in the St. Petersburg area provides us with great opportunities fishing both in Tampa Bay and in the Gulf of Mexico. Weather, Tides and seasonal fish movements will determine where we will be fishing.

What will be fishing for?

The Tampa Bay area and Gulf of Mexico is home to numerous species of fish, you truly never know what might be swimming below. Some of our most common and sought after species are Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Trout, Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, Sharks, Sheepshead, Pompano, and Permit. Just as conditions play a roll in where we will be fishing they will also play a roll in what we will be targeting on any given day. If you have a certain species that you’ve always wanted to catch please let me know! While I cant guarantee we will catch one, I can guarantee I will give it my all to make your day on the water one to remember!

What do I need to bring with on the day of my charter?

-Hat and Sunglasses

-Sunblock

-Food and drinks for the day

-Close-toed shoes

What not to bring?

-Hard liquor(Beer is okay!)

-Bananas(bad luck)

-Illegal Substances

When and where do we meet the morning of the Charter?

This will all depend on what were targeting for the day and what the conditions are going to be. We launch from several local boat ramps in the area. I will reach out the night before and finalize details. If you are staying on the water near by or have a location you wish to be picked up from via boat, please let me know. If it is a possibility we will try to make that work for you.

How many people can fit on the boat?

Four adults is most comfortable.

We have young children in our group is there an age limit?

We love to share fishing and a day on the water with the anglers of tomorrow and there is no age limit, however with the hazards of fishing and boating we don’t recommend those under 5 years old and request at least 1 adult per child under 10.(if you would like to discuss this policy and your circumstances, please reach out and give us a call) We require all children under the age of 10 to wear a properly fitting life jacket at all times and we request that the parents provide these life jackets as children’s life jackets vary greatly in size and fit. If you have any questions please reach out to us and we can discuss how to best accommodate your crew for their day on the water!
